Support Vulnerable Children in Geneva This Autumn

Are you looking for a meaningful way to give your time this autumn?
Association Païdos is recruiting volunteers to support its mission of helping vulnerable children and adolescents through care, creativity, and community.

This is a unique opportunity to join us during the autumn months, mainly on Wednesdays when the program runs, as well as on special occasions during school vacation weeks. Your time and presence can bring safety, stability, and joy to young people facing difficult circumstances.


🌟 About Association Païdos

Since 1996, Païdos has been dedicated to children and teenagers in Geneva who are experiencing social, family, or integration challenges.
With the support of public institutions, foundations, and private donors, the association provides a secure and inclusive environment where children can learn, create, and build trust. Its programs are designed to support:
Integration for children from migrant or vulnerable backgrounds
Reintegration for those who have experienced exclusion or hardship
Prevention through stable routines, creative expression, and positive community ties


🛠 Our Flagship Program: Atelier des Bricolos

The Atelier des Bricolos is a creative workshop that brings together migrant and local children through hands-on activities, teamwork, and play.
Here, children discover new skills, build friendships, and develop self-confidence in a safe and welcoming space.

🙌 Volunteer Activities Include

✔ Preparing and sharing simple meals
✔ Offering emotional support and a listening ear
✔ Helping children feel safe, respected, and valued
✔ Assisting with creative workshops, games, and group activities


👥 Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers who are:
Kind, patient, and empathetic
Open to cultural diversity
Able to commit to regular volunteering on Wednesdays or during school vacation weeks
Comfortable in French, to ensure smooth communication with the children

⚠️ No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a caring presence.
