 SWISS HOPE HEROES

Travailler avec des enfants
Travailler avec des enfants

Overview

Every child has the power to be a hero — not through strength, but through kindness.

Swiss Hope Heroes was created from a simple belief: when children learn to help instead of hurt, they change their world.
Our campaign empowers students across Switzerland to stand up against bullying, embrace empathy, and build communities rooted in respect and hope.
Through school programs, creative workshops, and volunteer projects, we help young people discover that the greatest act of courage is compassion.

👉 Join us in shaping a future where every hero’s heart beats for hope.

1. About Us

Who We Are
Swiss Hope Heroes is a national initiative dedicated to creating safer, kinder, and more inclusive school environments across Switzerland.
Our motto —
“Stop Bullying. Start Helping.”
“Être un héros, c’est aider — pas blesser.”
— reflects our conviction that true heroism lies in compassion, courage, and empathy.

Through interactive workshops, creative projects, and volunteering experiences, we empower children and teenagers to become Hope Heroes — young ambassadors who stand for kindness, respect, and inclusion.
The campaign is powered by Volunteer Hub, in partnership with Association Le Petit Escabeau, combining community expertise with a strong volunteer network to create lasting social impact.

What We Do
• Promote anti-bullying awareness and positive peer behavior
• Provide interactive school workshops on empathy, respect, and teamwork
• Create art and storytelling projects that nurture creativity and emotional expression
• Engage students in volunteering activities that build confidence and civic responsibility
Each participant receives an Official Volunteering Certificate, recognizing their leadership, empathy, and contribution to their community.

2. Vision & Mission

Our Vision
A Switzerland where every child feels safe, valued, and supported — free to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment of kindness and respect.

Our Mission
To inspire children and youth to become Hope Heroes: ambassadors of empathy, courage, and positive action in their schools and communities.

Our Philosophy
“Being a hero means helping — not hurting.”
« Être un héros, c’est aider — pas blesser. »

This simple message drives everything we do — encouraging students to stand against bullying, support one another, and take pride in being kind.

3. Key Program Pillars & Activities
The Swiss Hope Heroes Campaign is built on four interconnected pillars that foster empathy, creativity, and collaboration.

1. Education
Interactive workshops and teacher training focused on empathy, respect, and anti-bullying strategies.
Schools receive educational toolkits and follow-up materials to embed kindness in daily learning.

Example Activity:
🎭 Theatrical Workshop for Students — Children explore emotions and empathy through role-play led by theater therapists, developing emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.

2. Empowerment
Students become peer leaders through Hero Badges and Mentorship Programs, building a culture of shared responsibility and respect.

Example Activity:
🏁 Confidence Building with Local Heroes — In partnership with local sports or racing teams, students visit real workplaces, earn Hero Badges, and learn about teamwork and perseverance.

3. Creativity
Art and storytelling allow children to express kindness and inclusion in meaningful ways — transforming values into art.

Example Activity:
🎨 Art Therapy Workshop: “The Wooden Angel” — Children paint wooden dolls representing unity in diversity, discovering that kindness is what connects us all.

4. Community
Our collective commitment to compassion culminates in National Hope Heroes Day, celebrating student achievements and community volunteering.

Example Activity:
🤝 Student Volunteering in Geneva — In collaboration with Volunteer Hub, students assist at cultural and humanitarian events, gaining teamwork experience and receiving their Official Volunteering Certificate.

Together, these pillars create a complete educational experience that nurtures empathy, leadership, and civic engagement.
