Partage is Geneva’s official food bank, committed to reducing food insecurity and waste across the canton. Since its establishment in 2005, Partage has been collecting unsold food and hygiene products from local businesses and redistributing them to social institutions that support individuals and families in need.

By operating on the principles of social, economic, and environmental sustainability, Partage plays a vital role in ensuring that vulnerable communities have access to essential goods while also tackling food waste.

Samedi du Partage – A Community Effort

One of Partage’s most well-known initiatives, Samedi du Partage, takes place twice a year.
During this event, volunteers encourage supermarket shoppers to donate non-perishable food and hygiene items, directly supporting those facing hardship.

Volunteer Hub – Mobilizing Support

Volunteering with Partage is crucial in strengthening Geneva’s social safety net.
Volunteers take on essential roles such as:
✅ Collecting, sorting, and distributing food donations.
✅ Ensuring that donations reach those most in need.
✅ Encouraging the spirit of solidarity and community engagement.

Volunteer Hub has been a key partner in helping Partage recruit volunteers for Samedi du Partage, mobilizing both local and refugee volunteers to support this impactful initiative.
